Welcome to the 2026-2027 School Year!
Central Union School District is pleased to announce that we are serving Breakfast and Lunch free of charge to all our students at all our locations under the California Universal Meals Program through the Community Eligibility Provision (CEP); it’s a four-year cycle program. CEP does not require us to process meal applications. However, school funding depends on completing a California Universal Benefits Application.
One application per household is required.

Qualifying families will receive FREE Sun Bucks cards from the state, providing valuable support to help meet your meal needs. Take advantage of this beneficial program by completing a Universal Benefit Form. Completing this form is strongly encouraged, as it offers additional benefits for both you and the district, including SUN Bucks, internet access, school transportation, funding, athletic waivers and textbook assistance.

Eligibility determinations made using a National School Lunch Program meal application are not subject to these verification requirements and must comply with the verification requirements outlined in 7 Code of Federal Regulations (CFR) 245.6(a).
