District Reply to IEC Written Comments and Recommendations

As stated in Board Policy 5136 the Central Union Elementary School District will at least annually respond in writing to comments and recommendations made by the IEC, tribal officials, or parents of Indian children. When community responses are received, the District will disseminate the reply to the SRR Education Department. As the acting Liaison between the Central Union School District, and the Tachi-Yokut Tribe, the SRR Education Department will submit the District responses to the tribal officials. Drinking Water Important Information

Our water system violates the arsenic drinking water standard or maximum contaminant level (MCL), of 0.010 milligrams per liter. Although this is not an emergency, as our customers, you have a right to know what you should do, what happened, and what we are doing to correct this situation. In addition to a quality education, CUSD offers sports, counseling services, special education services, speech therapy, state preschool, a family resource center, music, art and a variety of extra curricular activities depending on which school students attend.  Through prioritizing student services Central Union School District continues to make these activities relevant for student learning and opportunity.
