Interim Assessments
Central Union School District administers an academic screening/diagnostic in Reading and Math to measure student progress, identify individual student strengths, and inform next steps. The interim assessment is administered Fall (1st - 8th), Winter (K-8), Spring (K-8), and End of Year (K-2).
District Interim Assessments allow students to be aware of areas in which they will continue to learn and enable teachers to monitor growth in students as they master the state standards.

i-Ready: A Connected Learning System for Assessment, Instruction & Support
Students take a computer adaptive test that matches the difficulty of test questions to the ability of each student. As students answer questions correctly, the test becomes more difficult. As students answer questions incorrectly, the test becomes easier. In both scenarios, the test adapts to find the precise ability of each student in the quickest, most efficient way possible.
