Welcome Back to School!

We are excited to begin serving delicious meals to our students beginning Wednesday August 12, 2020 from 11:00AM to 12:00PM.

Meals will be served “Curbside” on Monday’s and Wednesday’s between11:00AM-12:00PM. Breakfast and Lunch will be served in one bag per student.

Although we are in Distant Learning model meals will not be served like our summer meals program like they were last spring. Meals will be served in the same manner as if school was in session under the National School Lunch Program guidelines.

The cost of your meal depends on your Meal Application. If you have not completed an application for this school year 2020-2021, please do so as soon as possible. The application link can be found in the Cafeteria News link on the district website. The deadline for applications is September 1, 2020.

In addition, prices, and eligibility guidelines are also available on the Cafeteria News Link. To make payments on your students account please use the EZSchool web link on the website in the Cafeteria News link or payment by check will be accepted at the school site. Please NO Cash.

This year we will issue Student ID cards and will hand them out at curbside on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday of this week. Please know that ID cards must be presented when collecting meals for every student at curbside every Monday and Wednesday.

Curbside pickup will be available for students at their designated school site, except Akers. All Akers student meals will be handed out curbside in the R.J Neutra School Parking lot.

The Healthy, Hunger-Free Kids Act requires that all District meal prices are in line with federal subsidies. Full pay lunch prices offered by the district are required to gradually increase, as a result of this legislation.

Studies have shown that children who participate in school lunch eat more nutritious food such as fruits, vegetables, low fat dairy and whole grains than children who do not.

We look forward to offering your child a balanced nutritious meal.
