Cafe News

Dear Parents/Guardians,

Central Union School District’s Food Services Program has exciting changes for the 2021-2022 school year!

Free Meals to all Students for the 2021-2022 School Year!!

What does this mean?
        *No Meal Applications to Complete
*No Random Verification from The State
*No Tracking Student Lunch Balance Accounts or Reminders of Low Balance.

Mobile Breakfast Cart

Central Union School District will continue to serve our children meals daily with a few modifications to ensure our student's safety.

An additional serving line other than the kitchen will be available during second chance breakfast. Mobile Breakfast Carts will be available on campus to reduce the group sizes and maintain a safe distance.

The breakfast carts will have the same meals served in the kitchen and follow USDA and Food Safety Guidelines.

We have partnered with TITAN as our new payment system for all student meal accounts!

Please register to access student’s meal accounts to view balances or add money to student accounts for future use.

School Menu

Please visit our new menu page, use the link below, simply select your student’s school site; TITAN will display a menu and detailed nutritional information for every item on the menu.

Coming This Fall!

Snack Carts will be made available, on campus, to students in grades 6-8. Carts will have a variety of approved smart snacks and drinks for school-aged students to purchase.

Due to COVID, money is not acceptable on campus to ensure our student's safety. Our new TITAN system will allow you to add funds to student meal accounts electronically for snack purchases.

Should you have any questions about these changes or any concerns, the food service department can help you. Please do not hesitate to call.

Thank you,
Sylvia Rios
Food Service Coordinator
