Mr. Heiko Sweeney is entering his 18th year at Akers School. He served 8 years as an 8th grade teacher at Akers teaching science, algebra, coaching sports, and coordinating student body activities. Mr. Sweeney is entering his 10th year as an administrator at Akers. Mr. Sweeney has also served as the Outdoor Education Coordinator and Safety Coordinator for the district. It is not uncommon to see Mr. Sweeney participating in student activities, hikes, or playing basketball with the students as he enjoys spending as much time with the students as possible. His favorite days are the ones when former students come back to visit him or e-mail him to let them know how they are doing. Mr. Sweeney has a Bachelor of Arts in Interdisciplinary Studies, and
a Master of Arts in Educational Administration from National University
in Fresno. He also has a Multiple Subject Teaching Credential and a
Professional Clear Administrative Credential. |

Mr. Chennault has taught 5th grade at Akers for a total of 7 years. During the 2005-2006 year, he transferred to Stratford were he taught 8th grade. He returned to Akers during the 2006-2007 year. He has also taught in the Hanford, and Laton School Districts. Mr. Chennault has a educational back ground in Speical Education and Psychology. He graduated from California State University of Fresno with a BS in Psychology, as well as Masters in Administration. Mr. Chennault has been married, to his wife Nichole, for 11 years. They have a 7 year old son, Connor, a 5 year old son Caleb, and a 2 year old baby girl, Mia. Mr. C is a local product, attending elementary and junior high in Armona and High school in Hanford. |

Mrs. Anne Gonzales has been with Central Union School District since 2005 and has served as an assistant principal at Central, Stratford and Akers school sites. She now serves as the Transition Specialist under the Department of Defense Education Activity Grant (DoDEA) awarded to the District in 2010. Mrs. Gonzales was born and raised in Fresno, California. Currently, she resides in Clovis with her husband Mark of 25 years. She has three daughters, two grandsons and one granddaughter. Mrs. Gonzales is a graduate of California State University, Fresno where she earned a Master's Degree in Education, Administration and Supervision (2005), a Master's Degree in Social Work (1997), and a Bachelor's Degree in Social Work (1995). |
